I had been considering surgery in…, New Zealand but with the prices offered on the website this looked to be an option really worth considering. I was of course generally concerned having very little knowledge of medical procedures or hospital standards in Thailand and very concerned about making payments without actually meeting any one. I was however really re assured that I didn't have to pay for the surgery until the actual day…

The service throughout was amazing… through to the hotel and hospital staff. Everything down to the tiniest detail had been organised for me meaning there was absolutely no running around on my part. Everything was quick and efficient and had all been done before I really had time to think. The hotel was fantastic, the hospital put most others I've been in to shame and the hospital staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. My surgeon instantly put any worries I had to rest as he came across as being extremely competent and knowledgeable as well as extremely respectful and helpful…

All up I'm extremely happy with the end result and I had surgery, a two week holiday with my partner and a fantastic tan all at less cost than getting it done in New Zealand and with much less organisation on my part.

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how I am traveling post op. We are back in …. and I am back to work. I must admit I have been a little tired and sore more so then the few days after the surgery but I guess it is to be expected as things at work and at home are hectic. Being able to lie around the resort post op was definitely great and I really appreciate the rest time I had then.

I am delighted with the outcome post op. It has been life changing for me and I only wish I had done it a long time ago!!!! My sincere thanks go to Dr. Rushapol, Yvette and the team for their care and professionalism. Dr. Rushapol was happy to answer all my questions before the surgery and was so patient and understanding and most of all caring. He made me feel so comfortable and even took the time on his day off (Saturday) to visit me in hospital. I can’t speak highly enough of him! The hospital staff and facilities were fantastic. I also appreciate the time you (Peter) took to visit me on the Saturday I was discharged. It certainly shows that you are all truly committed to ensuring your patient’s receive the best possible care.

I have taken the time to read some articles on the internet about the team at PIH and certainly agree that those reports in Australia about problems having surgery in Thailand are certainly ‘sensationalist”. There are always risks involved in having surgery anywhere in the world. Having experienced first hand the care and service you provide I really think many Australian medical professionals should take a look at themselves!
